Research Assistant in Manufacturing & Industrial Engineering
Graduate research assistant position available for master’s and doctoral students, assigned to a faculty member conducting research or a scholarly endeavor in Manufacturing & Industrial Engineering.
ResponsibilitiesThe duties for the Research Assistant are project‑specific and may include data collection, analysis, literature review, experimentation, and assistance in scholarly writing or presentation activities, with the focus varying by the assigned faculty research project.
Qualifications- Must be admitted to a graduate program.
- Must be in good academic standing.
- Must be registered full‑time for the respective semester (nine (9) semester credit hours during the fall semester, nine (9) semester credit hours during the spring semester, three (3) semester credit hours during the summer session(s)), or be registered in the required number of semester credit hours to fulfill the remaining requirements of the degree plan.
Preferred qualifications include experience in manufacturing or industrial engineering research.
Compensation and ScheduleSalary commensurate with experience. Maximum appointment is limited to twenty (20) hours per week (50% FTE) during the Fall and Spring semesters.
