Job DescriptionAt GO Outdoors, our purpose is to inspire and equip everyone for life outdoors. We are looking for a Store Colleague to deliver a great in‑store experience every day.
Role OverviewAs a Store Colleague you will greet customers, maintain displays, replenish stock, and support a positive, fast‑paced retail environment. You will ensure service and presentation standards reflect GO Outdoors values.
Key Responsibilities- Welcome customers with confidence and energy, offering friendly support and helping them find the right products.
- Use in‑store systems to check stock, share product options, and support the full customer journey.
- Keep the shop floor clean, organised, and fully replenished, ensuring displays stay fresh and aligned with GO Outdoors standards.
- Support day‑to‑day store tasks, including till duties, restocking, and following all safety and store guidelines.
- Positive, enthusiastic approach suited to a fast‑paced, customer‑focused retail environment.
- Strong communication skills, confident engaging customers and working as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn, take on new tasks, and develop skills in a supportive store environment.
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends, evenings, and busy seasonal periods. - A genuine passion for the outdoors and GO Outdoors product range.
- Proactive attitude, confident approaching customers and supporting sales opportunities.
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring the shop floor is always well presented and customer‑ready.
- Self‑motivated, with a desire to learn, improve, and progress within the business.
