Driver Hire Edinburgh City is currently seeking a dependable and experienced HGV Class 2 Refuse Driver to support a busy waste management operation in East Lothian.

This is a fantastic opportunity for drivers looking for regular full-time hours, weekly pay, and the chance to secure a permanent position with a well-established client.

• Monday to Friday
• 6:00am start times
• Minimum 40 hours per week
• Overtime available depending on business needs
• Temp to perm opportunities for the right candidate

• Operating a Class 2 refuse collection vehicle on planned routes
• Working closely with loaders as part of a professional team
• Completing collections safely and efficiently
• Carrying out daily vehicle inspections and reporting any defects
• Following all health & safety procedures at all times

• £14.53 per hour
• £21.80 per hour overtime after 8 hours

• £16.28 per hour
• £24.42 per hour overtime after 8 hours

Minimum 40 hours guaranteed per week

Weekly pay

Long-term and permanent opportunities available

• Valid UK Class 2 (Category
  
  C) licence
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card
• Previous refuse, waste, or similar driving experience preferred
• Strong awareness of health & safety practices
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented attitude
