Role Overview
Responsible to architect and set up best in class testing environment/process; design QA process building blocks through test planning, developing test strategies, and executing acceptance criteria. Acts as subject matter expert on various testing types, tools, market trends, and best practices. Visualizes complete testing lifecycle from requirements gathering to product delivery. Provides end‑to‑end testing strategy covering different test types at various lifecycle stages.
Key Responsibilities- Test automation assessment and tool evaluation.
- Automation framework design.
- Script development, re‑engineering, and implementation.
- Planning, process implementation, gap analysis, effort estimation, and maintenance.
- Develop test scenarios for mobile and UAT testing.
- Conduct smoke, functional, regression, UAT, and end‑to‑end testing using QTP, Selenium, Test Bench, RPA Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, Postman, and Squish.
- Facilitate collaboration among developers, testers, and operations.
- Manage full automation lifecycle: write scenarios, execute tests, develop test cases (automated/manual), review, track defects, support PM applications, and report bugs.
- Participate in Scrum activities: backlog planning, sprint estimation, resource planning, sprint prioritization, stakeholder demos, and emergency delivery planning.
- Track sprint status in daily stand‑up meetings, identify and mitigate risks.
BS/Master's degree in Computer Science, Business, Computer Applications, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field. Minimum 5–8 years of experience in QA and test automation.
Job LocationEdison, NJ (relocation may be required to serve assignments anywhere in the USA).
Job TypePermanent, Full‑time, Monday‑Friday, 40 hours per week.
