Embrace an impactful teaching role as a Ukrainian Language Teacher with Edmonton Catholic Schools in the 2026/2027 school year. Fluency in both Ukrainian and English is essential alongside a Bachelor of Education Degree.

The Ukrainian Bilingual program serves a vibrant community of over 900 learners across four sites. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills in listening, reading, speaking, and writing in Ukrainian. Successful hires may pursue contract positions according to their skill set and the department's needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach the Ukrainian curriculum effectively across grades

• Cultivate fluency and engagement in both languages

• Partner with educators to develop bilingual educational practices

• Keep detailed records of student development

• Engage in faith-based instructional activities

Requirements:

• Must possess a Bachelor of Education Degree

• Current valid Alberta Teaching Certificate necessary

• Strong bilingual skills in Ukrainian and English required

• Required documents include teaching evaluations and references

• Baptism Certificate may be required for eligible candidates
