Academic Support Specialist

You'll work alongside the Learner Academic Support team to monitor and support academic success through personal outreach and systematic reviews. This position demands strong communication and organizational skills to accurately track student progress and facilitate necessary academic adjustments that may impact their educational journey.
Key Responsibilities:
• Attend and update the Learner Review Committee on student status
• Facilitate additional academic assistance requests for learners
• Ensure accuracy in student record management
• Communicate concerns from academic reports to management
• Support interdepartmental cooperation for holistic student services
Requirements:
• Educational degree or diploma in relevant field
• Preferred experience in student service roles
• High-level attention to detail and self-motivation
• Knowledge of Learning Management Systems (D2L) as an asset
• Compassionate approach to diverse learning needs
