Undergraduate Proctors Nursing

Overview

The Faculty of Nursing is recruiting undergraduate student proctors to assist instructors in administering exams in the Nursing Undergraduate program. This posting is restricted to current UofA students only. The position has an end date of April 30, 2027.

Location:

in‑person at North Campus Edmonton.

Student proctors are responsible for ensuring the smooth and secure administration of exams in the Faculty of Nursing. Their duties include:

• Monitoring students during exams.
• Verifying student identity.
• Enforcing exam rules.
• Maintaining a fair and safe testing setting.
• Assisting in preparing the testing area.
• Managing the distribution and collection of exam materials.
• Addressing any issues or concerns that arise during the exam.

Preferred candidate qualifications:

• Upper-level (Year4+) undergraduate student at the University of Alberta.
• Excellent attention to detail and professionalism.
• Ability to handle sensitive situations with sound judgement and discretion.
• Availability during mid‑term and final exam periods; intermittent hours.

Applicants will be required to complete the University of Alberta Disclosure and Assessment of Conflicts of Interest and Conflicts of Commitment, and to sign a Confidentiality Agreement.
