Location: St. Albert
St. Anne’s School invites applications for a French and Social Science teacher position starting in August 2026, aimed at inspiring young women.
We seek an exceptional teacher for our Upper School who will lead students in learning both French and Social Science topics. Candidates should be fluent in French, ideally as their first language, and equipped with a Bachelor of Education having specializations in these subjects. The role encompasses teaching in our Extended French program, and the ideal candidate will also engage in extracurricular activities, including sports coaching.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach Social Science courses in French
• Develop engaging lesson plans and assessments
• Support extracurricular initiatives and coaching programs
• Foster a nurturing and collaborative learning environment
• Participate in school events to enrich students' experiences
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Education with requisite subject specializations
• Fluency in French as a first language preferred
• Prior experience in coaching sports is a strong asset
• Proven track record in student engagement and empowerment
• Certification to teach in Ontario is advantageous
