This tenure-track position at the Faculty of Kinesiology, Sport, and Recreation will begin on January 1, 2027. The successful candidate will develop a research program focusing on exercise interventions for chronic disease while teaching graduate and undergraduate courses. Contributing to a new undergraduate concentration and supervising students are key expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop an externally-funded research program in exercise intervention
• Teach graduate and undergraduate kinesiology courses
• Launch an undergraduate concentration in exercise programming
• Supervise students in research and coursework
• Engage in service to the Faculty and the University
Requirements:
• Ph.D. in Kinesiology or related field by start date
• Proven track record of research communication and publications
• Ability to secure external funding
• Effective engagement with students and communities
• Strong communication skills for teaching and service
