Join CAREERS as a full-time Program Coordinator in Edmonton to forge impactful connections between high school students and employers. Engage in building internship programs that inspire student career exploration.
This role focuses on connecting students with enriching internship opportunities through strong partnerships. You'll work closely with employers, schools, and various stakeholders to deliver CAREERS programming, enhance student participation, and ensure impactful presentations. Effective collaboration and relationship-building are essential for fostering community engagement and meeting student career needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Connect with employers to promote CAREERS' programs
• Manage student internship programs from recruitment to placement
• Build long-term relationships with diverse community stakeholders
• Facilitate in-person presentations for students and employers
• Identify community needs for CAREERS programming
Requirements:
• Enthusiastic personality with strong interpersonal skills
• Proven history in project management or sales
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Experience in community engagement or volunteerism
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required
