Become a Workshop Facilitator at Open Door Group in Edmonton, delivering impactful training for individuals facing barriers to employment. Engage clients through interactive and inclusive learning experiences.
In this part-time position, you will create and implement competency-based workshops aimed at enhancing the skills and confidence of diverse participants. Your responsibilities include adapting instructional approaches based on individual needs, monitoring client progress, and collaborating with staff to ensure quality service delivery. Maintaining strong records and managing logistics is also key to this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate workshops enhancing confidence and job readiness
• Foster supportive client relationships and engagement
• Coordinate workshop logistics and materials with colleagues
• Track participant attendance and progress systematically
• Manage administrative requirements efficiently
Requirements:
• Diploma in social services or related field
• Two years recent experience in group instruction
• Obtain Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Training after hiring
• Valid criminal record with vulnerable sector check
• Strong facilitation and communication abilities
