Shape workforce training at Finning Canada as a full-time Competency Advisor, based in either Edmonton or Calgary. Utilize your knowledge of learning systems to promote employee engagement and compliance.
In this critical role on the Environment, Health and Safety Team, you will be responsible for managing LMS functionality and coordinating training programs. Prioritize compliance and effectiveness while working alongside trainers and subject matter experts to continuously enhance training materials and processes. Your proactive approach will drive measurable outcomes in employee learning.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee training record management within LMS
• Organize and facilitate various training formats
• Report on training completion and compliance metrics
• Partner with stakeholders for content revisions
• Ensure adherence to regulatory training standards
Requirements:
• 3+ years in managing Learning Management Systems
• Familiarity with Workday, Bis Trainer
• Strong techniques in adult learning methodologies
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Competency in Power BI or analyzing metrics
