Environmental Compliance Manager

Shape sustainable construction practices with Clark Builders as an Environmental Compliance Manager. Lead environmental compliance efforts and support project teams from our Edmonton office and a future site in Fort Saskatchewan.

This pivotal role at Clark Builders involves managing environmental compliance procedures and activities on construction projects. You will partner with project teams to ensure adherence to environmental regulations and best practices. With over six years of experience in environmental management, you will develop project-specific environmental programs and support compliance tracking.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage environmental compliance procedures on-site

• Serve as the Environmental Point of Contact for clients

• Maintain an environmental compliance matrix and permit register

• Coordinate management of hazardous substances and waste

• Conduct site inspections and audits to identify compliance issues

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science or related field

• Minimum six years of environmental compliance experience

• Familiarity with Alberta environmental regulations

• Experience in large-scale construction projects

• Strong communication and organizational skills
