In this temporary position, you'll join the Public Operations team for up to 11 months, utilizing your public engagement expertise to further the Edmonton Transit Service initiatives. Collaborate with various stakeholders while developing actionable plans and tactics ensuring inclusivity and transparency in engagement processes. Your thorough understanding of public participation practices will be essential in achieving successful outcomes across city programs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide strategic advice on public engagement practices
• Collaborate to develop tailored engagement plans
• Implement both digital and in-person engagement activities
• Analyze and report on public feedback
• Manage events to address participant concerns
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
• At least five years of public engagement experience
• Proficient in Google platform tools
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with inclusive engagement approaches
