This position will lend potential opportunity for entry level employees to participate in a Class 3 license upgrade program with mentorship in plow and equipment operation.

Work Conditions- Applicants that are local may be given preference due to the location of the work (No Camp or LOA provided)
- As LHL is obligated to respond to various weather patterns, some shift work, on-call, and night shift will be required
- Will be provided a pay rate of $21/hr with increases based on experience
- Night shift premium $3/hr
- Opportunities to participate in a class 3 license upgrade program and mentorship in snow plow and equipment operation
- Perform various highway maintenance tasks including crack sealing, asphalt patching, flagging, message painting, etc.
- Assist with traffic control procedures
- Perform preventive maintenance and cleaning of equipment
- Perform other road maintenance duties as required
- Work outside in all weather conditions
- Successfully complete pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
- Physically able to perform demanding outdoor tasks
- Must possess a valid Class 5 driver's license
- Provide a 3-year driver’s abstract
- Previous experience as a Traffic Controller or Flagging experience is a strong asset
