51,200.Purpose The Analyst, Inbound Logistics plays a key role in optimizing inbound freight operations for Sysco. This position focuses on planning and executing efficient transportation strategies, managing carrier relationships, and resolving freight-related issues to minimize costs and ensure timely delivery of goods.### Responsibilities
* Plan and tender freight to carriers within established service level agreements and budgetary constraints.
* Utilize Transportation Management Systems (TMS) to optimize routes, minimize empty miles, and maximize load utilization.
* Monitor freight costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction, such as negotiating rates, exploring alternative carriers, and optimizing load fill.
* Carrier Management:
* Build and maintain positive relationships with carriers.
* Resolve carrier issues, including payment discrepancies, service failures, and claims.
* Negotiate spot rates with carriers as needed.
* Data Analysis & Reporting:
* Analyze freight data to identify trends, identify areas for improvement, and generate reports on key performance indicators (KPIs).
* Process Improvement:
* Identify and implement process improvements to enhance inbound freight operations and improve efficiency.
* Support the development and implementation of new initiatives to optimize inbound logistics.

* Data Analysis:
Proficiency in data entry and basic data analysis.

Experience with Microsoft Excel and TMS systems preferred.
* Communication:
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
* Problem-solving:
Ability to identify and resolve logistical challenges and address customer concerns.### Education Bachelor's degree in related discipline or an additional 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree### Experience2+ years of experience

L'analyste, logistique entrante joue un rôle clé dans l'optimisation des opérations de transport entrant chez Sysco. Ce poste se concentre sur la planification et l'exécution de stratégies de transport efficaces, la gestion des relations avec les transporteurs ainsi que la résolution des problèmes liés au fret afin de minimiser les coûts et d'assurer la livraison des marchandises en temps opportun.
