Operational Support Associate - S&R

What You Will Do

The Receiving Clerk supports the operation by logging all incoming purchase orders and auditing completed receiving paperwork to ensure accuracy. The role assists inventory to ensure that all stores are appropriately stocked for customers and observes incoming/outgoing merchandise for defects and damage. The Receiving Clerk will call vendors for packing lists and freight bills as necessary and maintain a comprehensive filing system for completed receiving packets.

The role operates distribution computer systems as required to efficiently control merchandise flow, using industrial motorized and non‑motorized equipment to unload trailers, transport, select, stock, and load heavy or large merchandise as needed to assist the Receiving team and perform all other duties as assigned by the Coach.

This role does not require regular travel.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Demonstrated track record of good attendance
• Basic math and reading comprehension skills
• Basic computer skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• If internal, no written warnings within the last 6 months or final warnings within the last 12 months

• Post‑secondary education in business, supply chain management, transportation or related field
• Experience in a customer service role
• Experience using troubleshooting processes to resolve problems
• Experience in distribution center operations
• Experience with software applications such as Excel, Access or data management system (Lowe’s DMS preferred)
• Experience managing multiple projects/tasks simultaneously requiring a strong ability to prioritize and manage time
• Previous power equipment experience (e.g., Reach truck or RC)
