We are seeking a mid/senior-level Field Systems Engineer to support our El Paso / Ft. Bliss location.

Our team is seeking an exceptionally motivated self-starting IT Field Systems Engineer with experience in SATCOM and Ground Radios, Facility Security Systems, network support and facility cabling installation to join our team. The IT FSE monitors and responds to service requests and assists with the maintenance of public announcement systems, wall mounting of displays, and other installation support requests in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment.

• Conduct thorough testing of SATCOM and ground radios equipment (bench & field testing) and other operational equipment in the field.
• Maintain security systems, including physical access control systems, CCTV, badge readers, electronic locks, and related components.
• Install facility cabling, including LAN, fiber, coax, and telephone cabling.
• Install and maintain advanced network architectures; install and test commercial network devices (WiFi, devices, VoIP, computers, etc.), CAT5e/CAT6 cabling; fabricate and validate cable installation (Layer
  1).
• Maintain the public announcement system and address technical issues.
• Install and mount televisions onto various surfaces.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues reported by users.
• Interact with clients and end-users to understand their IT-related needs.

• Required Skills/Experience
  :
  • Senior level IT experience (8+ years).
  • Proven experience testing SATCOM and ground radios equipment; maintaining facility security systems, cabling installations, and advanced network installations.
  • In-depth knowledge of mechanical and electronic tools (multimeter, network/IT testing devices, cable testers, drills, power tools).
  • Familiarity with Service Desk Support.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines with minimal oversight.
  • Capable of making sound decisions and problem-solving independently.
  • Excellent communication skills to work independently and with teams and customers.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Active DoD Secret clearance required to perform this work; candidates must have an active Secret clearance upon hire and maintain it during employment.

• Education / Desired Skills
  :
  • Associates/Bachelors degree in electrical engineering, telecommunications, or a related field.
  • Certifications in relevant technologies or products.
  • Experience working in a military and/or operational environment (e.g., former military, law enforcement).
