Provide a variety of support such as following quality management system, scheduling batching and raw material inventory.

Responsible for team member and machine safety, and efficient operational and maintenance related items focused around digital inkjet printing machines.

Ensure all safety protocols throughout the plant and department are adhered to and drive world class housekeeping in glaze prep and the batching plant.

Follow the Quality Management System for all operating procedures and practice instructions, and work with the Quality Department to create needed procedures.

Manage daily/weekly/monthly glaze prep needs from the batching plant as well as raw materials needed.

Plan and schedule the batching plant orders from our sister plants.

Count month end raw material inventory for all glaze line, glaze prep and batching plant materials.

Coordinate with purchasing and vendors for glaze prep raw material orders.

Train all new hires and existing team members on safe and efficient operation of the machines in glaze prep and batching.

Work with operational and maintenance teams to develop and sustain operator basic care programs.

Serve as fill-in and relief for all glazing prep and batching functions and assist glaze lines for glaze needs.

Perform daily and weekly review of mills and mill times to ensure efficiencies remain at a high level.

Potential for call‑in support if the in‑house team cannot meet the needs of the process.

All other duties as requested.

2 or more years manufacturing experience.

Dal‑Tile level II or level III glazing certification or 18 months+ experience in the ceramic tile industry with a strong background in machine effectiveness.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Knowledge of safety policy and procedures; ability to read/write English; basic computer literacy; strong knowledge of glaze line and quality standards, and overall ceramic manufacturing.

Strong communication, listening, leadership, organizational, conflict resolution skills, and ability to analyze, plan and schedule.

Regularly required to stand, use hands and reach with hands and arms; walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; sit, climb, balance, talk or hear; vision: close vision, peripheral vision, ability to adjust focus. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities.
