- Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
- Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It's all up to you.
This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
Responsibilities- Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a transportation location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem‑solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence in accordance with post orders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout transit facilities, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials when required, and report security‑related concerns, hazards, and/or unusual activity to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Prepare clear, accurate incident and activity reports, and support emergency personnel and/or local law enforcement during response activities when appropriate.
- Have at least 1 year of armed security‑related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
- Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
- An Armed Guard Card or license is preferred.
- A valid firearms permit is preferred.ಮ >
