About the Role
Consertus is seeking a Construction Scheduler to support Los Angeles Metro with scheduling services for a major Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) capital project—North Hollywood to Pasadena BRT. This heavy civil infrastructure assignment includes civil construction, utilities, roadway/roadwork, and pavement activities.

6. - Build schedules from scratch by coordinating with engineering, project management, construction teams, and contractors.
- Cost‑load and resource‑load schedules; develop time‑phased forecasts and cash‑flow curves as required.
- Establish schedule baselines; perform updates and variance analysis against baseline and key milestones.
- Perform Time Impact Analyses (TIA) and support evaluation of schedule changes, delays, and recovery plans.
- Review and analyze contractor‑submitted schedules; provide comments, identify issues, and coordinate corrections.
- Track critical path, near‑critical activities, constraints, and key interfaces across civil, utilities, roadwork, and paving disciplines.
- Prepare schedule narratives, dashboards, and briefings for project leadership and executive stakeholders.
- Support schedule‑related documentation for claims avoidance, change management, and reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in project scheduling for heavy civil or highway projects.
- Proven experience scheduling large‑scale, complex infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in Primavera
P6 (v12.0 or higher); ability to load costs and resources. - Strong knowledge of construction methods for heavy civil/highway projects.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with ability to present technical information to stakeholders at all levels.
- Track record of accuracy, reliability, and completeness in prior roles.
- BRT or transit project scheduling.
- Supporting CMGC (Construction Manager/General Contractor) delivery or similar alternative delivery methods.
- Cost/resource‑loaded schedules and earned value or progress measurement.
- Experience in project controls environments and working with multi‑party teams (agency, CM/GC, designer).
Hybrid (Los Angeles area; onsite presence required as directed by the project/team). First‑class schedule:
Monday–Friday, Full‑Time / Exempt. Salary range: $176,800–$208,000 annually, with an annual bonus per company program.
