Project Engineer, Systems Engineer

We are currently looking for a Project Engineer to join IMPEX Technologies and play a key role in delivering innovative technology solutions for our customers. The Project Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing infrastructure, cloud, software, and data modernization projects while ensuring successful project execution and customer outcomes.

• Lead, design, present, and implement information technology (IT) projects for the company’s software, data modernization, and cloud solutions.
• Collaborate with sales teams to provide technical design assistance, validation, and product research to establish configuration standards and pre-sales documentation.
• Meet with stakeholders and vendors to define requirements, leverage contracts, and schedule development phases using RACI matrices.
• Provide technical direction for the development, design, and systems integration across multiple sub-systems from the definition phase through implementation following both System Development Lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
• Oversee project progress to ensure that deliverables, such as server/storage design and disaster recovery planning, are executed within budget and the timeline.
• Prioritize tasks in dynamic environments daily while documenting advanced network procedures and monitoring systems to ensure best practices.
• Ensure all solutions solve business and logistics problems in a scalable way that supports rapid growth and long-term goals/strategies.
• Meet with internal stakeholders and third-party vendors to ensure that IT projects continuously optimize our supply chain.
• Engage in cross-education and the mentoring of other team engineers.

• Sales Awareness:
  Sales Awareness can include looking for new opportunities in existing accounts, leveraging new technologies/products, finding ways to solve customer problems they didn’t know existed, and bringing unique value that customers are not able to get from other resellers.
• The position requires four years of experience in the job offered or a related position.
• The position requires skills and knowledge in SQL, Cisco MDS, Net App ONTAP, Python, and CIFS/SMB.
