Technical Writer​/Editor Security Clearance

Position Overview

The Technical Writer/Editor will support Space Systems Command Space Domain Awareness & Combat Power and Battle Management Command, Control & Communications Program Executive Offices.

• Research, draft, and edit articles, speeches, and testimony on the organization, missions, operations, and initiatives.
• Gather, develop, and verify the accuracy of information from a wide range of sources, including Acquisition Deltas and staff organizations.
• Analyze and recommend pertinent information, the most logical and effective use of the information, and the overall length and tone of the message based on the objectives of the communication event and the audience.
• Coordinate with the Government to ensure consistency of messages for internal and external audiences.
• Assist in determining the overall organization of the presentation and edit the information for clarity and accuracy.
• Perform additional research and recommend revisions on submissions from other staff activities to organize, balance, and apply consistent style, grammar, and flow.
• Prepare and arrange graphics to support presentations as necessary.
• Ensure accuracy and consistency of messages.

• TS/SCI clearance.
• BA/BS degree.
• Minimum 12 years experience in Technical Writing.
• Demo link required.
• Applicants may be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
