Pay Rate: $38.95 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM How This Role Works:
* Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"):
You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
* Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program:
In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week;

always with the option to scale back when needed. Responsibilities:
* Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
* Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through proper channels.
* Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, production-adjacent spaces, and perimeter locations, noting conditions and helping to deter unauthorized activity.
* Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor access as directed by site procedures, and report access concerns involving restricted or controlled areas.
* Support site operations by communicating with supervisors, personnel, and/or first responders during alarms, emergencies, evacuations, and other security-related events.

Minimum Requirements:

* At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
* An active DoD Top Secret Clearance is required.
* CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
* Customer service experience is preferred.
* A guard card/license is preferred.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
