Senior Estimator - Structural Steel & Bridge Division
Location:
New Jersey
Compensation: $150,000 - $200,000 plus benefits
Type:
Heavy Civil / Structural Steel
This role plays a key part in securing major infrastructure projects by delivering accurate and competitive estimates. You will directly influence project success from the earliest stage, shaping bid strategy and supporting long-term growth, with a clear pathway into leadership.

The firm is noted for its technical expertise, safety standards, and ability to deliver large-scale steel fabrication and erection packages on high-profile civil projects.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the full estimating process from take-off through to final submission
- Price structural steel and bridge erection packages
- Work with leadership on bid strategy and value engineering
- Review subcontractor quotes and select suitable partners
- Support and mentor junior estimators
- Experience estimating structural steel or bridge projects
- Strong understanding of AISC standards and DOT processes
- Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines
- Great communication and stakeholder management skills
- Detail-focused with a proactive approach
