Description
The Steakhouse Server provides exceptional dining experiences to guests by offering knowledgeable, courteous, and efficient service. This role is responsible for greeting and seating guests, guiding guests through the menu and specials, taking and delivering orders accurately, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction in a fine dining steakhouse environment. Servers must maintain a high standard of professionalism and hospitality at all times.
Pre-bus and cleans tables after completion of each course and resets tables for service.

- Minimum of 1–2 years of serving experience in a high-volume, upscale restaurant or steakhouse preferred.
- Strong knowledge of steak cuts, preparation methods, and wine pairings is a plus.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and multitasking skills.
- Upbeat and positive personality, Patient and warm demeanor.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Quick learner.
- Ability to carry trays with food or dishes that can weigh 10 to 20 pounds and carry it with one hand in the upright position, balanced on one shoulder for approximately 20 to 30 feet.
- The ability to memorize daily specials and answer questions concerning casino promotions.
- Must be professional in appearance and demeanor, and Maintain a clean uniform.
- Must be punctual and reliable attendance.
- Must be available to work special events, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Must adhere to all policies and procedures as outlined in the employee handbook.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time. (up to 10 hours).
- Must be able to pass a class for Safe Serve Food Handler’s card.
- Ability to write and speak fluent English.
- Basic math and POS system proficiency required.
- Legible handwriting.
Fast-paced, high-energy steakhouse dining environment. Regularly exposed to hot, cold, wet, or humid conditions in kitchen and dining areas. Requires prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, and carrying trays. May be required to lift up to 25 lbs. Schedule may include special events, split shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays. Exposure to cleaning chemicals and sharp kitchen tools. Exposure to tobacco smoke.
