Job Summary
The LE2 Program Quality Engineer will support the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) Quality Program in Denver, CO, overseeing implementation and execution of program quality requirements across the full lifecycle.
Responsibilities- Lead quality planning and maintenance for proposals, contract review, start-up, development, transition to production, production, and support.
- Execute contract reviews and flow down quality requirements to the quality team, including suppliers.
- Establish and manage quality budgets, cost commitments, and documentation of Quality Assurance Plans.
- Plan and conduct quality audits, independent program reviews, and Return to Green plans.
- Maintain customer quality relationships and serve as the primary point of contact for quality matters.
- Collaborate with program management, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and customers on quality issues.
- Engage in failure investigations, material review board decisions, corrective/preventive actions, and statistical analyses of quality defects.
- Evaluate and improve quality systems, design inspection and testing processes, and ensure compliance with reliability standards.
- Technical bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline; a master's degree is preferred.
- Experience in quality, testing, or production environments, including quality systems management and engineering processes.
- Proficiency with discrepancy documents or databases such as SAP.
- Ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance; US citizenship required.
- Electrical Engineering background.
- 3+ years of related quality experience.
- Lean Six Sigma or Green Belt certification.
- Knowledge of FBM-related discrepancy processes and audit activities.
- Experience engaging with external government customers and missile processing environments.
- Familiarity with missile hardware, systems, and enterprise requirements.
- Understanding of T9001 and Technical Program Management Requirements.
- Experience with non-conformance (PR/MRB) systems.
- Strong communication skills and data analytics experience.
US Citizen required. Clearance Level: Secret. Candidates must be able to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
