Position Summary
This position is responsible for supporting the project team on smaller, less complex projects. The role assists a project manager or managers to successfully coordinate a project using the necessary engineering, labor, equipment, materials, tools, and subcontracted services.
Responsibilities- Maximize project team’s effectiveness and efficiency by utilizing own organizational skills to provide basic project support to senior project management staff.
- Supports the project construction team as needed.
- Estimates the impact of project changes.
- Manages change orders.
- Assembles submittal packages and other required project documentation.
- Assists with procurement of equipment, materials, subcontractors, and other project related services.
- Analyzes and resolves basic construction related questions and issues.
- Four-year degree in related field, or applicable experience.
- Up to 3 years’ experience.
- Basic knowledge of building systems such as HVAC, lighting, controls, generation, and water systems.
- Basic ERP skills to include inquiring, reviewing and printing job cost reports.
- Ability to read design drawings and keep track of work progress.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Intermediate computer skills, Microsoft Office Products, such as Excel and Microsoft Projects.
