Job Title
Maintenance Mechanic 1
Location & EmploymentEnumclaw, WA – Full‑time, Permanent (WPEA) – Salary $4,630.00 – $5,372.00 monthly, plus 5% King County duty station pay.
Responsibilities- Schedule and provide building maintenance for the region headquarters, twelve work centers, related storage facilities, and other DNR-owned sites.
- Monitor and coordinate facility projects, including grounds and facility needs.
- Perform semi-skilled and sub‑journey level work and repairs on region facilities, routine facilities maintenance, and warehouse support for the South Puget Sound Region.
- Two years of general work experience in building and equipment maintenance, construction, or repair work, including hand‑tool knowledge and skills; experience and knowledge of power tools.
- One year of experience with Microsoft Office products, specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel.

- Perform assigned duties in a manner consistent with applicable laws, regulations, and public records retention.

- The majority (50%+) of work is performed outdoors in all weather conditions; expected to work extended periods outdoors.
- Lifting more than 30 lbs routinely (and 50 lbs on occasion), bending, twisting, walking, and/or climbing on uneven terrain and surfaces.
- Majority of travel is within the workday; overnight travel is minimal.
- A current, valid driver’s license and two years of driving experience, with no suspension, revocation, or restriction.
- Experience in carpentry, plumbing, welding and metal fabrication, electrical, grounds keeping, and HVAC.
- Knowledge of governmental purchasing and contracts.
- Experience with Wildfire Equipment.
