Accounts Payable Manager

Description

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to join our team in Northern Kentucky. This is a Contract position where you will oversee critical financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all aspects of accounts payable processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in invoice management, payment processing, and financial coding.

Experience with SAP S/4

Hana is preferred.

Responsibilities:

- Manage and oversee the accounts payable processes, including invoice coding and payment approvals.

- Ensure timely and accurate completion of check runs and Automated Clearing House (ACH) payments.

- Monitor compliance with company policies and financial regulations in all payable transactions.

- Collaborate with internal teams to address discrepancies and improve efficiency in invoice management.

- Analyze and resolve issues related to vendor payments and account reconciliations.

- Develop and implement procedures to streamline accounts payable operations.

- Supervise and support staff handling accounts payable tasks to maintain productivity and accuracy.

- Prepare detailed financial reports and summaries related to accounts payable activities.

- Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for all payment transactions.

- Provide training and guidance to team members on best practices and system use.

Requirements - Proven experience in accounts payable management, including invoice coding and payment processing.

- Strong knowledge of check runs and Automated Clearing House (ACH) procedures.

- Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance standards.

- Excellent problem-solving skills for resolving payment and vendor-related issues.

- Proficiency in financial software and tools relevant to accounts payable.

- Ability to manage and supervise a team effectively.

- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail.

- Strong communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and vendors.
