The City of Eugene is seeking a friendly, dependable, and detail-oriented individual to serve as our City Hall Greeter. Limited Duration. In this vital front-line role, you'll be the first point of contact for residents, visitors, and staff-offering assistance, answering questions, and directing individuals to the services they need.

This recruitment may hire up to two part-time City Hall Greeter, Limited Duration positions.

Salary: $22.06 - $27.46 hourly/ $45,884.80 - $57,116.80 Annually

The City of Eugene determines starting pay within the range based on relevant education and experience as provided by the applicant in their application materials. This process is consistent with the Oregon Equal Pay Act (OE

Schedule:

Part-time hours will be scheduled between 8:30 a.m.

- 4:30 p.m., Monday - Friday.

About Limited Duration Position

* This Limited Duration position could last up to 12 months per business need.

* If you are a current Limited Duration employee, you will not have rights back to your Limited Duration position.

* Employees hired into Limited Duration positions will be members of the AFSCME bargaining unit and covered by the contract except for items outlined below:

* Limited Duration employees are at-will and do not have a probationary period; they accrue no seniority, have no bumping or layoff provisions, and have no discipline or discharge rights.

* Performs routine sorting and distribution of mail; assists with mass mailings as directed.

* Answers telephone calls and takes messages; answers routine questions providing readily available information.

* Accesses computer for readily available information; may perform routine data entry to update records.

* Operates standard office equipment with minimum instructions.

* Accepts, receipts and tracks small cash payments; performs basic mathematical calculations.

* Sets up, updates, files, and retrieves records as instructed.

* Types and completes routine forms, form letters, and labels.

* May run established reports as directed.

* Schedules rooms and appointments.

* Performs other related duties as assigned.
