Education:
High school graduation or equivalent.
Required Experience:
Three (3) years of experience at a journey level in electronic hardware and access control, with at least two (2) years of this experience in maintenance, new construction, and electrical troubleshooting.
Licensure or Certification Requirements
* Candidate must have an Oregon General Journeyman Electrician License upon hire.
* A current and valid Oregon Driver's license or the ability to obtain one by the date of hire.

Position
Purpose:
Responsible for journey-level performance in installing, maintaining, repairing, and removing electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures, and door hardware in College facilities.
Essential Functions:
* This work requires the ability to analyze and troubleshoot problems with electrical systems, including all phases of electrical installation and repair, and diagnose causes of electrical outages and interruptions.
* Installs, modifies, troubleshoots, cleans, and repairs elements of the power distribution system.
* Repair, modify, install, maintain and remove electrical systems associated with plumbing fixtures, fans, pumps, motors, clocks, fire alarms, cooling towers, chillers, kitchen equipment, appliances, heating water…
