Customer Service Representative (CSR) Job Summary/Description

Job Summary:

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for assisting Real Estate Agents and Home Owners in all aspects of scheduling home showing appointments.



1. Confer with customers (Real Estate Agents and Homeowners) by telephone in order to assist them with inquiries about showing appointments.
2. Follow scripts and/or established procedures to ensure security of confidential/safety information and to provide customers with all necessary information about appointments.
3. Assist licensed agents and/or authorized vendors in scheduling appointments to view homes.
4. Assist homeowners and/or listing agents in adding or modifying instructions to properties by recording updated names, telephone numbers or other information as needed.
5. Contact customers to notify them about showings appointments or changes for appointments.
6. Complete and/or update all callbacks before leaving for the day or notify Supervisor on Duty if not completed and why.
7. Refer any unresolved customer grievances or problems to a Team Leader or Supervisor for further investigation as needed.
8. Assist in maintaining a safe, clean, and positive work environment
9. Assist management with projects if needed

Requirements:

1. Requires great articulation and pronunciation; friendly and outgoing phone voice
2. Must have a great attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks.
3. Prefer high school diploma or GED and previous customer service skills/experience.
4. Required basic computer skills (i.e. typing and navigating between programs/screens to enter date and process information)
5. Ability to use logic and reasoning to analyze information and evaluate results to choose the best solution and solve problems
6. Ability to handle complex situations professionally
7. Ability to develop and maintain constructive and cooperative working relationships with all types of personalities and attitudes
8. Flexibility in schedule availability to meet company needs.
9. Must be able to maintain a professional appearance and attitude
10. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, and perform duties with a minimum of supervision.
Position Requirements
High School
Call center experience is preferred, but not required.
