PT Retail Party​/Events Host

Store - LA CROSSE, WI

• Plan, coordinate, and facilitate events, including children’s birthday parties and craft classes.
• Engage with clients of all ages, create a fun and creative environment, demonstrate and instruct craft projects, perform face painting and other activities.
• Facilitate and implement party add‑ons such as goody bags, balloons, and company‑standard items.
• Communicate event details with clients and store team members.
• Adjust plans and events based on client feedback and needs.
• Set up, break down, and clean before and after each event.
• Assist customers in shopping, locating products, and providing solutions.
• Provide fast and friendly checkout experience.
• Engage customers on rewards program and private‑label credit card enrollment.
• Conduct Voice of Customer (VOC) survey education.
• Assist with omni‑channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Unload trucks, stock, maintain planograms, and perform merchandise recovery.
• Perform store in‑stock optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies; ensure compliance with applicable laws.
• Cross‑train in custom framing selling and production.
• Participate in store cleanliness activities (sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, restroom maintenance).
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Energetic, enthusiastic personality with strong people skills.
• Ability to handle job stress and interact effectively with guests of all ages and coworkers.
• Excellent written, verbal, and non‑verbal communication skills; active listening.
• Organizational and creative problem‑solving abilities.
• Retail and/or customer service experience required.
• Experience working with children and organizing children’s events.
• Applicants in the U.S. must satisfy federal, state, and local legal requirements.

• Remain standing for long periods; move throughout the store.
• Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching.
• Lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves via ladder or similar equipment.
• Work hours may include nights, weekends, and early mornings.
• Possibility of outdoor work retrieving shopping carts or unloading trucks.
• Work in climate‑controlled public areas; some stock rooms may not be climate‑controlled.
