Location & ScheduleBanfield Lynnwood, WA | Full time. Applicants must live within 20 miles of the North Seattle area.
Compensation$33.46 – $52.28 per hour, based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials.
Why This Role MattersThe Hospital Maintenance Technician maintains hospital facilities in good condition by managing repairs, preventive maintenance, and coordinating with contractors to keep equipment and spaces operational.
You Will- Identify, manage, perform, measure, schedule, and track facility repair and preventive maintenance tasks per practice standards.
- Execute painting, cove base installation, cabinetry and laminate repairs, drywall, ceiling, basic plumbing and electrical, lighting, and flooring maintenance and repairs.
- Manage in‑house maintenance work orders, schedule work, communicate timelines to hospitals and coordinators/Construction Managers, and complete tasks.
- Oversee ceramic tile floor care and the regional maintenance program.
- Source, select, hire, and manage painting contractors to meet regional standards.
- Perform medical equipment preventive maintenance on various equipment.
- Report on‑repairable damage and document facility conditions and construction plan variances.
- Provide clear, concise communication of repairs, projects, and service work updates to managers and field leaders.
- Purchase and maintain inventory of all needed hospital maintenance materials.
- Coordinate travel arrangements within MVH guidelines to meet job deadlines; some travel required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Facilities Management, or a similar field is preferred.
- Minimum three years of experience in Construction or Maintenance.
- Working knowledge of construction terms, blueprints, electrical, plumbing, and general building construction.
- Experience with power tools, drywall repair, paint, cabinetry, laminate, vinyl composition tile (VCT), ceramic flooring installation and repair, and general building construction is preferred.
$33.46 – $52.28 per hour, determined by education and experience.
