Site Engineer

Volker Stevin is a leading civil engineering business. We are looking for a Site Engineer to join our team on a long‑term framework, managing engineering activities on site and delivering complex infrastructure projects.

• Manage and deliver all site engineering duties across self‑delivery and subcontracted works.
• Supervise and support engineers under your control, ensuring high performance standards.
• Educate, mentor, and develop members of the engineering team.
• Contribute to and review key documentation including RAMS, Temporary Works Briefs and ITPs.
• Support weekly progress reporting and short‑term planning updates.
• Raise and manage NCRs, Technical Queries (TQs) and Early Warnings.
• Ensure accurate setting out, quality assurance and compliance with project requirements.

• Experience working as a Site Engineer within a civil engineering environment.

• Strong background in concrete structures.

• Confident managing engineering outputs across direct labour and subcontractors.

• Proactive mindset with the ability to lead and mentor others.

• Strong understanding of site documentation, quality processes and planning activities.

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering

5 Years’ Experience

Working towards Professional Certification (CSCS) –
First Aid required.
