Part-Time Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant – Fairfield, CA
Schedule: 22 hours/week (Flexible during Monday through Friday from 5 am to 1 pm)
At Med Mark, we take a patient-centered approach to opioid addiction treatment. In the first days of treatment, we’ll design an individualized plan that’s suited to your needs. We don’t just offer rehabilitation counseling and methadone treatment, Med Mark clinics also provide physical evaluations, drug screenings, case management services, relapse prevention education, and after-care planning. Additionally, certain clinic locations offer methadone detox, buprenorphine maintenance, and group counseling.
All of our services focus on helping you achieve long-term sobriety to enhance your wellbeing and improve your quality of life.
- Assist in admitting patients for Methadone and Buprenorphine Treatment
- Obtain a history and physical exam
- Document into the EMR, entering orders for methadone dosing in the EMR or writing a buprenorphine prescription
- Authorize and supervise dispensing of daily narcotic replacement therapy and other medication by medical staff in the Medical Director’s absence
- Consistently monitor patient dosages in conjunction with the Program Physician/Medical Director, Treatment Center Director, Counselors and Dosing Nurses
- Other related duties as determined by supervisor
- Must be licensed and in good standing in the State of California
- Must have active DEA registration
- Must be able to interact compassionately with a diverse population
- Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check
Salary ranges from $69.82 to $71.82 an hour.
The salary of the candidate(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, experience, education, specialty and training.
