Material Handler; Inventory

The Material Handler will conduct put-aways, transfer shipments to their designated areas, and replenish inventory. Responsibilities include managing packaging supplies, replenishing shipping stations, and organizing inventory locations. Hours are 3pm – 11:30pm with weekly pay.

• Review inventory for packaging supplies and reorder as necessary.
• Replenish shipping stations and pick carts used by materials pickers and shippers throughout the day.
• Replenish totes throughout the warehouse as needed.
• Prep and wrap pallets using automated pallet wrap and pallet jacks.
• Transfer packages from shippers to designated consolidation areas.
• Organize inventory locations based on product demand, quantity, and size.

• Adhere to all organizational safety practices, including proper wearing of required PPE.
• Attention to detail to support overall product quality.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Basic understanding of distribution center operations.
• Read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Utilize a computer with MS Windows and web-based applications.
• Read inventory reports and conduct basic math calculations.
• Comfortable with using a ladder.
• Capable of lifting boxes up to 30 lbs.

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for long periods of time.

• Attendance: Must have worked 85% (148 hours) of the working days in a given month to earn the incentive.
• Productivity: Must have efficiency of more than 85% minimum for the month.
• Violations: Any write-up due to a policy violation or quality issue disqualifies the employee for that month.
• Employment: Must be a full-time Hilco employee for more than 30 days and actively employed on the date of the incentive payout.

• High School diploma or equivalent.

• Technical training or higher.

• 1 year of material handling and replenishment experience.
