What You Will Be DoingWe’re seeking a strategic and experienced Manager, Systems Administration to lead our Global Systems Administration team in delivering reliable, high-performing enterprise infrastructure and applications. This pivotal role ensures 24x7 system availability across global environments, driving operational excellence and aligning technology solutions with business goals. The ideal candidate will provide visionary leadership, foster innovation across cloud and on-prem platforms, and champion best practices in governance, security, and compliance.
With a strong focus on team development, vendor management, and process improvement, this leader will empower a high‑performing team to support mission‑critical systems and enable scalable, cost‑effective IT operations worldwide.
- Lead the Global Systems Administration team to deliver reliable, high-performing enterprise infrastructure and applications.
- Ensure 24x7 system availability across global environments and drive operational excellence.
- Align technology solutions with business goals, driving vision and governance.
- Foster innovation across cloud and on‑prem platforms.
- Champion best practices in governance, security, and compliance.
- Manage vendor relationships and process improvement initiatives.
- Develop and enforce IT policies, standards, and governance frameworks.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and translate technical concepts into business terms.
- Manage competing priorities and deliver results under pressure.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 10+ years of IT experience, including managing global 24x7 environments.
- Proven expertise in Microsoft platforms: O365, Active Directory, Azure, SaaS, IaaS.
- Strong background in system monitoring, security, and backup technologies.
- Demonstrated leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- Experience developing and enforcing IT policies, standards, and governance frameworks.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results under pressure.
- Strong business acumen; able to translate technical concepts into business terms.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, global environment.
- Willingness and ability to travel as needed.
