Job Overview

The City of Fairview Park is looking to fill several full-time Service and Recreation Department positions in the Laborer category. Employees are responsible for maintaining the physical assets and appearance of facilities, parks and grounds to which they are assigned, as well as the public rights‑of‑way such as streets, sidewalks, sewers, etc. They will perform general and sometimes manual labor under a supervisor;

however, they need to be motivated problem‑solvers with excellent teamwork skills and an ability to work with the public. Employees will operate one or more types of vehicles and equipment depending on prior experience, and capacity to learn. A Commercial Driver’s License is preferred.

Starting at $26.31 / hour.

Passage of a pre‑employment drug test is required, and a criminal background check will be performed.
