Hourly Rate: $40/hr
Caseload: Elementary level, specializing in Autism‑specific classrooms with 12 students per classroom.
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Elementary Special Education Teacher to join our team in Southbridge, MA, for the school year. This full‑time, in‑person role involves working in Autism‑specific classrooms, providing specialized instruction and support to students. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to helping each student reach their full potential within a structured and supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to the needs of each student.
- Provide specialized instruction and support in Autism‑specific classrooms with a caseload of 12 students.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and other support staff to create a cohesive learning environment.
- Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instructional methods as needed to ensure student success.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to provide updates on student progress and involve them in their childs education.
- Must meet all state requirements for Special Education teaching credentials in Massachusetts.
