Reports to:

Principal, Assistant Principal

Provide comprehensive academic, life skills, and social‑emotional‑behavioral (SEB) support for students. Collaborate with parents, staff, and administration to design and implement research‑based lesson plans that foster essential life skills for students' success.

• Provide small group and direct instruction, including discrete trial training
• Perform observations and gather data
• Provide feedback, write IEP progress reports, goals, and summaries; attend team meetings
• Provide direct instruction in areas identified on student‑specific service plans, including academic skills, social skills, related adaptive functioning, and curriculum access
• Assess for and create social/behavior plans
• Provide direct support for behavioral interventions, including implementation, modeling, and training of staff
• Provide support for language acquisition, including Assistive Technology and AAC
• Coordinate student service delivery schedules with therapists and/or teachers
• Consult with BCBA, PT, OT, SLP, Psychologist, General Education Teachers, and Guidance on student‑specific programming
• Conduct regular parent communication
• Attend professional development and conferences
• Maintain a district‑identified de‑escalation certification

• DESE Special Education Teaching License;
  Teacher of Severe Disabilities preferred
• Experience in education preferred
• Ability to work well with teachers and students
• Approved CORI and Fingerprinting results

Salary Range: $68,177 – $74,436
