We currently have an exciting career opportunity for a Manager to join our Assurance team. We are targeting candidates from the Northeast; strong audit experience in financial institutions including banks and credit unions. Experience with Employee Benefit Plan audits a plus. This position is a hybrid position. Hybrid team members alternate their time between working remotely, at the office, or at client locations.

Meaningful Work
  • Participates in client strategic planning including analysis, plan development, recommendations, and presentations.
  • Facilitate client billings to ensure write‑offs are appropriate.
  • Manage project budgets throughout the engagements audits by suggesting procedural improvements, establishing project budgets, and utilizing reporting and analytics for profitability.
  • Coordinate various phases of large engagements, including staff requirements, locations to be visited, and scheduling.
  • Provide high‑level technical expertise to team members by staying abreast of industry standards and conducting in‑house continuing education seminars.
  • Understand client satisfaction to ensure retention while also identifying opportunities to cross‑sell additional services and establish new business through contacts, referrals, and projects.
  • Ensures that all documentation required for Quality Control and Peer Review assignments.
  • Coach & develop team members through performance management, real‑time feedback, and addressing their educational needs.
  • Participate in staff interviews while advocating for the firm’s values and mission.
What you must have
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting from an accredited college or university and/or equivalent years of experience.
  • CPA license required.
  • Minimum 5 years of audit experience.
  • Industry‑specific knowledge in financial institutions, including banking and credit unions. Employee Benefit Plans highly desirable.
  • Previous experience managing work teams required.
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.
  • Valid State Driver’s License required.
