• Prepare, stage, set up, and perform startups and shutdowns of hardware components such as racks, hard drives, and switches following detailed instructions and protocols.
• Conduct post-execution quality checks ensuring proper grounding, staging, labeling, and cabling according to safety and deployment standards.
• Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting to identify and resolve hardware issues efficiently, replacing faulty components as needed.
• Decommission hardware for simple upgrades and refreshes, including memory upgrades and OS rebuilds, adhering to standard procedures.
• Communicate, report, and elevate incidents to the appropriate Data Center Technician Leads to ensure smooth operations.

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent qualification.
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware, servers, and related components.
• At least 1 year of experience supporting IT equipment or related technology.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Flexibility to work non-standard hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
