* Broad training in one or more of the following areas: data analytics, innovative fashion buying, digital merchandising, brand management, and apparel-related technologies
* Experience of teaching across multiple instructional formats
* Experience in teaching and advising
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
Earned doctorate in apparel merchandising or a closely related discipline at time of hire from an accredited institution of higher education
* Documented professional engagement within the apparel industry.
* Evidence of the ability to conduct research independently and in collaborative settings
* Evidence of effectiveness of teaching, advising, and mentoring undergraduates, honors and graduate students
* Demonstrated success in building partnerships with academic peers, industry professionals, and relevant organizations.
* Familiarity with emerging trends and innovations in the fashion industry, particularly in digital merchandising, brand management, and/or apparel technology.
** Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):*
* * Proficiency in teaching apparel merchandising concepts and tools
* Expertise in industry-related software applications, including Excel and data analytics platforms

The Student Right to Know and Campus Security Act was passed in 1990 and was amended in 1998 to form the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act. This law requires that certain institutions of higher education distribute to all current students and employees a copy of the required report, and to all prospective students and employees a summary of what is contained in the yearly report.
