ResponsibilitiesBusiness Systems Analysis Intern
Act as a liaison between IT and business units, translating business requirements into the development, implementation, and enhancement of systems. Identify and evaluate new IT capabilities, recommend solutions, and manage quality assurance processes. Coordinate incident management with internal and external parties.
Cloud Engineering InternSupport the development and execution of cloud strategy within Marathon’s existing IT infrastructure. Implement cloud solutions, including design, planning, integration, automation, maintenance, and support of cloud architecture. Evaluate public and private cloud systems to deliver appropriate solutions.
Cybersecurity InternEvaluate, test, monitor, and maintain IT and OT cybersecurity policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with identity management processes, assess risks, implement risk‑based controls, conduct audits, and respond to security incidents.
Infrastructure Engineering & Operations InternFocus on Platform Engineering or Operational Technology (OT) Engineering, supporting routine maintenance, performance testing, and troubleshooting of infrastructure systems. Assist with configuration, backup, recovery, and documentation; OT interns support industrial control systems such as HMIs and PLCs.
Software Development InternContribute to either Software Engineering or Quality Assurance. Software Engineering intern designs, develops, tests, and deploys enterprise software with emphasis on automation, security, and continuous improvement. QA intern supports validation through manual and automated testing, test strategy development, and bug reporting.
Qualifications- Desired majors:
Computer Science & Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, Information Systems & Analytics, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering and Computer Science, and related IT disciplines - Strong academic performance
- Authorized to work in the U.S. on a full‑time basis without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
- Concurrent enrollment in a degree‑seeking program for the duration of the experience
- Military experience is a plus
- Compensation: $24.95 to $31.19 per hour
