One of TEKsystems clients is looking for multiple qualified candidates to support their IT department's Desktop Support team. This is a great opportunity for someone to get their foot in the door with a local enterprise company. - 2 years of Desktop IT Support Experience
- Any healthcare IT is a bonus
- Microsoft 365, VPN, Active Directory
- EMR Support (Cerner)
- Windows 11, imaging and deployment experience
A Desktop Support (or IT Site Support) role at our client involves providing high-level, on-site, and remote technical assistance for VIPs, staff, and healthcare teams.
Key Responsibilities and Duties- VIP/Site Support:
Provide face-to-face and remote support to VIP users and staff, focusing on urgent resolution. - Incident Management:
Manage the resolution of hardware and software tickets using ticketing systems, adhering to SLAs. - Hardware/Software Management:
Setup, configure, and troubleshoot laptops, desktop equipment, and peripherals. - Onboarding/Offboarding:
Assist with setting up IT equipment and accounts for new employees. - System Maintenance:
Ensure workstations and network equipment are updated and functioning correctly.
- Strong knowledge of Windows-based systems and hardware troubleshooting.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills to support high-pressure environments.
- Experience in Active Directory, VPN, and Microsoft 365.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize critical tasks.
Contract to Hire, based out of Flint, MI.
Pay and BenefitsPay range: $18.00 - $22.00/hr benefits include medical, dental & vision;
