As a member of the Flint Production Assembly Team, you will be responsible for performing all jobs in the work cell to build quality seats efficiently.
- Assuring safety standards are always followed, reporting all accidents and near misses
- Identifying safety issues and helping to resolve concerns
- Driving 5S in the area and holding others accountable to 5S World Class Housekeeping standards
- Identifying scrap, defects, or quality issues as they appear and reviewing quality alerts and metrics
- Ensuring work is done the right way the first time to deliver the right quality to our customer
- Reading Liaison reports to make improvements and correct issues
- Completing all repairs that can be performed at the station
- Ensuring poka-yokes are in place
- Assuring safety, quality, production, and work standards are always followed
- Driving and contributing to continuous improvement suggestions and projects
- Adhering to and measuring line KPIs
- Inspecting equipment, tools, structures, or materials to identify repair needs or other problems or defects
- Learning and rotating through all tasks in the team cell
- Meeting or exceeding line efficiency targets to ensure customer delivery is achieved
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work any shift
- Previous manufacturing experience
- Ability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms, legs, and moving the whole body
- Physical ability to lift, carry, and/or move heavy objects
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and operate pneumatic tools
- Physical ability to make fast, simple, repetitive movements of fingers, hands, and wrists
