Consumer Banker

The Consumer Banker will work with existing FFB clients and prospect for new FFB clients to deepen client relationships by booking business directly and referring, as appropriate, to internal partners such as Mortgage, Wealth, Small Business Banker Commercial, and Treasury Management.

• Open and maintain accounts.
• Run a teller drawer as directed.
• Support client engagement through active calling, conversations, and follow‑ups.
• Ensure compliance with operational and risk management standards.
• Assist clients in transactions across branch, drive‑thru, phone, and email.
• Model behavior aligned with First Financial’s mission and values.
• Produce and communicate business results to partners and district specialists.
• Lead and contribute to First Financial Bank Experience activities such as site center huddles.
• Achieve sales, service, and referral goals set by management.
• Provide digital assistance and support for client use of online banking.
• Stay informed on bank products, processes, and procedures.

• 3-4 years of experience in a retail environment with sales and service success.
• 3-4 years of coaching/mentoring experience.
• High school diploma or GED required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 4-5 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent.
• Demonstrated ability to meet performance goals.

• Supports management needs for FCM and market leadership.

• Occasionally lifts up to 50 lbs.
• Frequently lifts up to 10 lbs.
• Frequently sits, stands, walks, and drives.

The associate is responsible for meeting all compliance requirements imposed on First Financial Bank by state and federal law and regulation, including BSA, AML, OFAC, suspicious activity reporting, and other lending and deposit compliance.

• Pay range $19.00 to $20.19 per hour.
• Eligible for incentives (except for Co-Op, Intern, or Student positions).
