Job Summary

The Financial Advisor will manage new and existing client relationships and provide advisory services to a select group of clients. This role is designed for candidates across a range of experience levels from entry-level professionals to experienced advisors. Advisors will lead financial planning for small to mid-sized clients, with client complexity, responsibility, and autonomy increasing alongside experience, credentials, and demonstrated performance.

Responsibilities

and Activities
  • Have the opportunity to follow up on firm-generated leads, creating a track record of sales accomplishments and consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Deliver financial planning to the client base and assist the firm’s principal financial advisoras needed.
  • Participate in required meetings, training, and continuing education requirements.
  • Become a lifelong learner, continuously seeking to expand knowledge and stay updated on industry trends.
  • Work to build and maintain relationships with internal and external parties.
  • Dress in business-professional attire.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Industry Experience Requirements
  • Prefer three to five years of financial planning and/or investment advisory experience, especially working with high-net-worth clients.
  • Active Series 65 or 66.
  • Clean U-4 and U-5 history.
  • CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Bachelor's degree or higher is strongly preferred.
  • Highly motivated and self-driven, with a strong winner mentality and the ability to thrive under pressure.
  • Confident in expressing opinions and ideas, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Detailed-oriented, exhibiting excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong relationship management skills and a genuine desire to help clients.
  • Full-time, on-site presence is mandatory.
Compensation
  • Base salary: $65,000 - $120, 000 (dependent on experience).
  • Compensation is structured based on the candidate’s experience, credentials, and ability to contribute immediately:
    • Candidates with little to no experience will begin toward the lower end of the range and receive significant training and development support.
    • Candidates with prior advisory experience, professional designations (e.g., CFP®), and existing client management responsibilities will be positioned toward the higher end of the range.
    • Additional compensation includes performance-based incentives tied to individual and firm success.
Experience & Career Progression

This role is structured to support multiple experience levels.

  • Entry-Level / Career Transition:
    • Limited or no prior financial advisory experience.
    • Focus on training, licensing, and foundational skill development.
    • Typically supports senior advisors and works with smaller client relationships.
  • Mid-Level Advisor:
    • 2-4+ years of relevant experience.
